ScoobyDoobyDoo!!
I, personally believe that the many episodes of Scooby Doo tried to warn us in the most candid ways, but we didn’t listen. 🤷🏾♀️
Not always, but for the most part, I can recall seeing the ‘mask’ and sometimes the motive. (I’ve been tricked too—I ain’t exempt) But, I’d choose to give rope and call it “benefit of doubt”. And, I can recall always wanting people to just be courageous enough to take the masks off and do as they wanted as themselves. Let’s choose honesty for a moment and agree that it’s rarely voluntarily.
But, those who were bold enough to be themselves, no matter what that looked like or no matter how they made people feel.. Those are the people I could respectfully agree to disagree with and choose how to move. Those people are boldly being whatever it is that they truly are, and doing so unapologetically. They are allowing people to see who they really are and letting them decide if they want to put up with whatever it is that they do. It’s the posers that irritate the inner lining of my soul!
But, yea—I just wanted to inquire when was it that you realized that all monsters aren’t green gobs with one or more eyes. The real monsters have been here. They just wear masks in disguise. **I don’t write to strike, I do it so that all can relate. Be mindful of what you are inviting into your space and be more intentional with how you set your boundaries. We can’t control everything, we can only master self. Outlive the attempts and help someone else with what you know.**
