Who is SHE?

*revamping*

As an advocate of change, Sheena Benson believes with God, all things can be made new. Her blogging journey dates back to 2007/2008.  She started off at Central State University pursuing a degree in Mass Communication. After two years in, she had a deeper passion for both communication and  business. So, the first change began. She became a graduate holding a degree in Business Administration and became the Founder of iBREATHE Inc. She also serves within the community as a mentor, focusing on self-esteem & development skills. She's extremely passionate about God's love, God's grace and the power of change. Identifying with the brokenness/pain that comes from stepping out of the will of God, she's grateful for grace. She genuinely stresses the importance of changing before God's grace runs out. Passionate about parenting, she started a movement called B.A.M (Bless Another Mother) in 2014, it took off in 2015 as a means to pay it forward for other single Mothers. Annually, there are back to school drives done in August via iBreathe Inc. (please feel free to collaborate or contribute). Also in 2015, she (and her daughter) were also apart of a stage production  called Unmasked (Love Light House Ministries) where she and others transparently shared their testimonies to inspire others by way of a personally written monologue.

In 2016, she co-wrote a book with her (then 8 year old daughter) called Mommy & Maya Conversations about family structure: “Why doesn’t daddy live with us?” They teamed up to tackle issues that many families deal with but hardly talk about or explain. It’s available on Barnes & Noble and Amazon. Becoming an Author turned into more public speaking engagements for both she and her daughter in communities from 2017 and forward.

Sheena believes the only way to be free from the past is to unapologetically expose your own truth. That takes courage, especially when the mirror is stop #1.
