Be Humble

I’m from a small town in Mississippi. 

We were raised to keep God 1st. 

We were raised humbly. 

Our neighbors were family. We looked out for each other. 

We were raised to be modest. 

We were raised to respect others. 

We were raised to be hospitable. 

To be kind & genuine..and we love to compliment others. 

We were raised to be our sister/brothers keeper. 

We were raised to take a little and stretch it into a lot. 

We were raised to never let our eyes get bigger than our stomachs. 

To never bite off more than we can chew. 

We were raised to beat the heat (not just the sun🌞)

We were raised to be humble, yet confident.

But we were NOT raised to be invisible..

I don’t even think that’s even possible. Don’t mistaken a few ingredients as weaknesses. 

Because we were raised to respond as well. 

We’re still brewing. We’re always* improving.
