Nehemiah

My late night random reads. Sorry for sending so late ... In Nehemiah tonight. It's a book that emphasizes on restoration, both physical & spiritual .. None of us are supposed to do anything alone in his/her walk of faith.. We're supposed to literally be there for eachother in some type of way.. Prayer, edification, an ear, shoulder etcetera etc. It's also talking about the the good that fasting actually does too. Nehemiah 1:1-4 .. "To receive divine intervention when we are helpless." .. "To know God's will for our lives." .. "To respond to times of crisis. During times of crisis, we need more than ever to focus on what God wants us to do." .. "To prepare for ministry/mentoring" (making sure you're able to clearly hear what is meant for you to deliver) .. "For personal cleansing" (removing all intentional sins, pride, hate, lust, etc) .. And most importantly ...... "For Victory over Temptation, habits & bondage." .. Of which we cannot accomplish alone through acts of just faith alone.

Prayer & Fasting are 2 of Life's Greatest Time Savers... If you don't like wasting time .... Pray & fast. Save yourself a disappointment or three !

Late night devotions/readings. Making time for God no matter what. I want the best & only the best in life.. Only way to obtain & retain it is through* Him.
