Half Empty or Half Full --Baby, I'm Overflowing
Some people see the glass half full, some see it half empty...then
there are those who are just grateful to have* a glass. If you’ve been using
the half empty perspective, as you’re complaining, think of everything from an
opposite view... While you’re complaining about your salary, there’s probably a
few million wishing they could get hired to make minimum wage to support their
family. While you’re complaining about life period…there’s probably about 1
million or more fighting just to stay alive. The fact is no one is responsible
for your perspective but you. I’m not responsible for how you take what you’re
reading now—how you take this post is completely up to you... It’s all very
black & white right? We’re grown right? Kick rocks to the victim mentality.
No one is holding you back from a ‘half full’ glass, but you. Sometimes, we have to make some necessary changes
to keep your ‘glass’ (perspective/drive/life) full of purpose, regardless of
situation. Your glass just may*be literally be half empty (no joke), but it’s
all about how you* view it and your conscious efforts to change it. “It doesn’t
matter if the glass is half empty or half full. There is clearly room for more
wine.” Switch up your perspective &
approach to things. Make necessary changes.
Be accountable. Be grateful. At least you’re still above ground, holding
a glass* …
Coming from the weekend, I thought the wine analogy was
fitting.. #ReFill lol.
Half empty or half full? Regarding myself--I'm always overflowing, regardless of the season or circumstance.

*cheers to the positive, hardworking & optimistic perspectives*
